Where Obedience is a Way of Life

Testimonials

"Before training, Zowie had a habit of getting too excited where she would jump on anyone who came to our house. We also had a problem walking outside with her on a leash. She would always want to be ahead of us and drag us behind her the whole way. We gave her the nickname “Miss Independent” because she would not listen to us when we called for her and when she would ignore the word “NO” like it was nothing. Zowie basically thought she could listen when she felt like it.

Since Zowie has had her training she has improved her behavior and habits. We have not had to get frustrated with Zowie for not listening to us. She understands the word “NO” with correction. Also, it has been enjoyable and easier to walk with Zowie on the leash. She is paying attention and giving eye contact when we are giving her commands. Our relationship with Zowie has greatly improved because of the training we were given.

We really enjoyed every aspect of the training process. Having the trainer work with us one on one really helped in Zowie’s training. We really liked how the trainer presented and explained everything to us. We were amazed how quickly Zowie picked up the commands given to her. It is now nice to watch her respond to our commands effectively."

"Morgan before training was pretty much out of control. She knew how to sit, but could only hold it for about 30 seconds. Walking her was a mess. She would go in front, behind and all around. It was more like she would walk you instead of you walking her. She did not know how to stay in one place for more than a minute unless she was sleeping.

Morgan after training is 100% better. Just one month after training she knows all her basic obedience such as sit, down and heel. She can sit/down and hold it for up to five minutes. She can sit/down from the front, sit/down in motion, sit from a down and in return down from a sit. Walking her is much better. She heels and auto sits. When not in a heel she walks on the left side without pulling. She also learned how to place on the mat and can hold her place for about 10 minutes.

The best part about training is the follow up lessons. Clarice & Kevin laid all the ground work with Morgan. In the follow up lessons they taught us how to handle her. They gave us the knowledge and tools we need to continue with her training."

"Before training, Dutchess was a very timid and inactive dog, preferring to run and hide instead of participating in doggy instruction or family gatherings.

Since the one on one training, and our new knowledge of the tools for training: Dutchess is not only more out going in personality, but actually seems excited about going through her obedience commands and going for walks without fear.

Thanks to FCCA, we are now seeing a dog that has more self esteem in her life."
