About the Trainers

Clarice Kashuba

Clarice graduated from Manchester College with a bachelor's degree in English Education.  After college, she taught high school English for a year, then middle school language arts for two years.  While Clarice has many fond memories of teaching, her passion for dogs and desire to start her own business won her over.

Clarice is a graduate of the Master Trainers course at National K-9's School for Dog Trainers.  She is currently the head trainer at Flying Colors and handles all Day Training and Residential Training clients.  Clarice is a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals.  Her companion dog is a sweet Lab mix named Bear.

Kevin Kashuba

Kevin graduated from Joliet Junior College with an associate's degree in culinary arts. After college, he worked in the culinary arts field for three years before deciding to join the Army full time as a supply sergeant. He served three years in the Army Active Guard Reserve plus seven years previous in the Army Reserves. Even through his deployment to Iraq, Kevin is proud to have served his country.

Kevin is a graduate of the Master Trainers course at National K-9's School for Dog Trainers. His military background has given Kevin a special interest in training dogs for protection work.  Kevin is a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals. His companion dog is a mischievous Husky mix named Zeus.
